This is a Knowledge base about the knowledgebase
You can create as many knowledge bases (KBs) as you like for varying purposes.
Each KB is a collection of Topics organised in a hierarchical structure - a tree view like the one on the left hand side.
What you are looking at here is the Name and Description of the root topic for the "About Knowledgebase" KB
A KB can be defined as public or private
- a public KB can be seen by anyone on the internet (this is a public KB) - but only edited by specified users who need to login.
- a private KB can only be seen by specified users who need to login to see the KB
A user who is logged in will see a list of the public and private KBs they have access to.
The DocArk knowledge base software can by hosted by DocArk (as is this KB) or can be setup and installed internally within an organizations data center or cloud.
